Problem solving & sustainability served as overarching themes for the 2016-2017 school year.
Level 2 students were introduced to problem solving by learning about and addressing problems within their local business community. This corresponded with a series of Out & Abouts where students traced the path of natural resources, goods & services, and waste.
Students learned about sustainability by examining how behaviors such as recycling, composting, buying products that are recycled, and reducing consumption can help the local and global environment.
Students created a class business that supports the environment and local business community, while making wise choices about the use of natural resources.
The pages of this website were created by students to explain their journey.
